Pump technology selection advice needed

Hi,


Which pump technology would be most appropriate for an application where:
1.- Clean tap water is the pumped fluid
2.- The pump will be mounted on a difficult to access vibrating platform, so robustness and very low maintenance are important.
3.- The pump will not be motor-driven but actuated with a very slow (<1rpm) and frequently intermittent movement, so the absence of return leakage is important. Could this be mitigated by installing a non return valve at the outlet of the pump?
4.- Outlet pressure should be relatively high (>100bar). Would it be an alternative to work with a lower pressure pump and then using a pressure intensifier to boost the pressure?

I haven't heard much for several years about the Danfoss 'Nessie' water fluid products. I don't kniow if they even got to production but you could search there with the local Danfoss reps.

What is the application? What is the flow rate? Force required? Why tap water?

Without more information, I am just brainstorming but that is fun too. With such low rpm and assuming small flow, leakage and seal friction is I think the major issue. Given the very low rpm input rate, can you go a totally different direction with some sort of cam or crank operated diaphragm or piston device. Or an totally sealed volume that is acted on (compressed) by the crank or shaft. Thinking more a jack or porta power ram for energy transfer.
